Simple Man

I am nothing more than a simple earthen man
Whose Soul has been stolen by fear and
Whose Will is sold to love,
For I am nothing more than a simple man,

A simple man drowning,
A simple man drowning in the wind,
A simple man drowning in sound,
A simple man drowning in the waters of love...

No super-man,
No stupid-man,
Just a simple man...

A simple man who's life is hell.

A simple man who wonders
What's worse,
Having your soul stolen by Fear, or
Having your soul stolen by Death?

Wandering in thought,
Wandering in love,
Wandering in and
Wondering about the one you want to call your beauty

A simple man...
With a Soul of nothing
More than a fearful Will of Love.
