Poem written on 20th April 2007
You promised me forever,
That we would always be friends,
You promised me forever,
That the love we shared wouldn't end.
Instead all you gave me,
Were many scars on my heart,
And all this did to me,
Was tear my whole world apart.
You left me to suffer,
You left me to die,
I always believed you,
Why did you have to lie.
Lie about the fact,
That you didn't truly love me,
I don't know why I didn't realise,
I was too blind to see.
See that it was a lie,
And that you weren't true,
See that I didn't mean anything,
I wasn't important to you.
