Words are All that I Have,
And Words are All that I Need.
The Freedom to Express...
The Ability to Hear,
And then to Understand.
Words for Frustration,
For Clarity,
For Fright.
And then there are Other Words,
That Touch the Heart,
And Heal the Soul;
Words used to Seek Forgiveness,
And then to Give It.
And even then,
The Ability to Refrain from Using them.
Leaving Moments of Silence
Where they are Needed,
Where they are Wanted;
Because Sometimes,
In those Silent Moments,
People Heal and Love,
In Ways they Never Could with Words.
