I'm Sorry

by Sad But True   Jun 18, 2007

Rowing thought life's paces I have found you in a place,
On that day, my world has stopped; I have left the race,
Clearly I knew I found the one, I had to look no more,
Hi to you, you are the one that I would forever adore,
Eventually my feelings got the better of you, started to run,
Life got complicated; this was surely in no way fun,
Living a life with no way of getting hurt,
Ending something, never going beyond a stage of flirt.

It feels like all I'm doing is saying sorry,
'My actions are constantly making you worry.

Sorry for putting you on the spot that night,
Originally I thought I had to put up that fight,
Really you mean the world to me I want to be your friend,
Rare are you in many ways, you are to special to comprehend,
You are everything that I could ever want in a friend.
