A Poems For My Daughter

Baby girl you are special in every single way
you lift me up when I'm down and take my sorrow away
I'm grateful for your presence, your my angel in disguise
I see the way you touch every person that comes into your life

I'm thankful for the letter you wrote addressed to me
a tear fell from my eyes, I was so happy
Your words were kind and sweet, they reached into my soul
I wanted to wrap my arms around you and never let you go

So young at eight years old I'm surprised by your kind words
speaking like a grown up, you take away my hurt
you called me your pile of roses, how precious I think you are
than while i was cleaning, i found another note in my car

In the little note you wrote mother when I sleep next to you
Its like sleeping next to an angel the whole night through
That brought me a smile I will not try to hide
How much those precious words touched me inside

So here I conclude the ending where I must say
baby girl I love you, your an angel in every way
I will never leave you I will always be your angel by your side
Even when I'm gone, Ill wipe away your cries

You can always count on me through whatever goes on in your life
I will hold your hand and help you do whats right
I will be your best friend as well a mom who cares
