Forbidden Love

by Qpid   Jun 18, 2007

How am i to talk to you,
If you take my breath away?
I'm in a dilemma.
I want to leave, but my heart tells me to stay.

How am i to sit next to you,
If your presence makes me nervous?
I'm falling madly in love,
Of this i am oblivious.

Your absence makes me down in the mouth.
Having you around,
Makes my world so colourful.
Like the sun lighting up the horizon at the crack of dawn,
the feeling is warm and beautiful.

How am i to love you,
If i can't hold you?
I want what i cant have.
It hurts and i wish you could feel this too.

I wish you knew how i feel.
My behaviour has changed lately,u realized.
This is a forbidden love, what i hold in my heart.
I love you, but i am demoralized.

I cherish our friendship, but i crave more.
I know i'll make you happy, always put you first.
You are like water,
I need you to quench my thirst.

My heart aches as i consider pulling away.
You are the apple of my eye.
And the love of my life.
Without u by my side i wish to die
