Against My Own Will.

by ABake   Jun 18, 2007

As soon as I close my eyes,
These pictures I begin to see.
They are more then just normal fantasies.

They are visions.
A look ahead.
This is why going to sleep,
Has become something I dread.

I see people dieing.
And babies being born too.
About these little visions,
I have no idea what to do.

They are really scary.
Most nights I wake up in a sweat.
My breathing is very heavy.
And my skin extremely wet.

I wouldn't call them nightmares.
Or even dreams.
I wish I was making this up.
But it`s more than what it seems.

Every night,
They become more and more intense.
And more and more my mind, becomes more dense.

I really want to stop them.
But have no way how.
I don`t know why they started.
Or what might be the cause.

I really want a cure.
Or maybe a sleeping pill.
But these visions,
They would keep my awake and painting,
Against my own will.
