The door begins to open

by Kenneth   Jun 18, 2007

The door begins to open
Hearts true light shinning through

I tried to open my heart wanting to feel
Then the dark tar began to steal
Flowing over me devouring my soul
Turning it all to dark coal
I want love but instead found desire
now my minds burning with this fire
its painful and twisting as

the door begins to open
hearts true light shinning through
hoping to see something true
I peek through the crack

The darkness blinds my eyes
Letting out pain full cries
I now see a dark world
My soul slowly unfurled
Good and bad not longer existed
No longer can I tell if I use or assisted
I should never have let

The door begins to open
Hearts true light shinning through
Hoping to see something true
I peeked into the crack

The darkness blinded my eyes
I only see a dark world
My soul now unfurled
Good and bad no longer exist
No longer can I tell if I use or assist
All I know is my action are no longer good
And now I don’t even know why they should
