The Garden

by Felicia   Jun 18, 2007

There's a secret in the garden.
Demons whisper warnings,
yet you do not heed them.
Dark Creatures hide behind the
bushes, waiting to pounce
on the oblivious
Dismembered bodies strewn
in all directions...
Fountains of crimson blood-sparkle
in the darkness.
Yellow eyes, riveted solely on you.
The garden, empty for so long,
is hungry.
It yearns for your blood.
Those secrets, restless in their
solitude, unfold.
and your eyes, they saw the evil.
Now that you know, you cannot leave.
Branches leer at you
Daring you to try and escape.
Death is your only reward.
