Lost love?

by KeyxMashingxParody   Jun 18, 2007

Give me a pen,
I'll write you a song.
I'll sing it softly,
So it lasts very long.

A Melody to you heart,
Sung from my own.
Two hearts attached,
Two hearts unknown.

Loved by one,
Hated by a curse.
Left in darkness,
Could this be any worse?

Both hearts scarred,
From previous loves.
Love they thought was real,
Love that was never love.

Crying out to each other,
Reaching for thin air.
Grasping for breath,
Led into a dead stare.

Love they need to heal,
Love forgotten always.
Lost in loneliness,
Remembering old days.

They catch eyes in a crowd,
Their hearts begin to pound.
Eyes never moving,
Lips never making a sound.

Attracted to the vibes,
Sending secretly back and forth.
This must be love in sight,
For what it's all worth.

Two years later,
We see them with a child.
After opening up once again,
They see lasting love, with only one smile.

(The reason i put this is the wrong category is because I cannot check my poems if they are love, friendship, explicit, or special event. So do not mention it in any comments, thank you.)

This is a very nice poem, and I loved the softness throughout the piece however I think it is a love poem which is odd because you not wanting to read love poem what a paradox if I say so myself Plot121...
