Forward

by Ryan Watkins   Jun 18, 2007

The suns heat beats upon my skin
As my heart pounds within
I go about my days with out a bit of fear
I can talk to my ex
And never shed a tear

I've took my stand and made my place
I may be last...but I'll finish the race
Life gets me down but i keep my head to the clouds
I move forward knowing that everything will be OK
That I will remain standing
From day to day

I was born a believer and raised a fighter
So this cruel life stands no chance
I don't hide from the storms
I just dance in the rain
