A secret in our meetings

by Shalkan   Jun 19, 2007

You tease me with that smirk,
your sarcasm has a bite.
tis only me you irk,
from daylight 'till dark night.

in a stupor, your so serious,
your words, they strike my being.
o, your speech, it is mysterious,
is it really you i'm seeing?

do not leave, my life will cease,
if only you did know why.
if you leave, my heart will freeze,
i say this with a sigh.

your my mentor, and best friend,
i regard you with respect.
do not leave, else all shall end,
o, the days i can reflect.

with happiness, i know you'll find,
a secret in our meetings.
we've only had a hundred signs,
the whispers in our greetings.

my last word, please let persuade,
your wandering ways to end.
o, let this friendship, that we've made,
live on through all the bends.

for all those who have lost something/one as important to them as their life.
