Dead End.

by Megann Lee   Jun 19, 2007

Your reflection is what holds the key.
Pressing you lips slowly to the glass.
Your bright blue eyes snap closed.
Your screams echo through-out.

Knees buckling and giving out from under.
Falling onto the tiled floor hard, cries unheard.
Bruised and broken, you don't know where to go.
You've lost faith, no where left for you to turn.

Make-up smeared eyes and lips.
Dainty pale hands caressing slowly.
Tear filled eyes of pure agony and hate.
This is your last chance, your last life.

Inhale the smell slowly, feeling your lungs fill.
That one stench that lingers, the one you miss.
How you used to love it, now you love to hate it.
No paths are left to choose--no love left to give.

Destiny is in play darling.
Paths are chosen for you.
It's going to be OK now.
Your life has come to a dead end.

Ah, this one was so powerful and so capturative, and also quite sad in a certain sense. 5/5 love.
