The price you pay to play the game

by mary   Jun 19, 2007

The fear the pain
And lonely night
The tears that seem to strain
My sight

The fear was overwhelming
The rush was even more
Than i was ever expecting
And now he wanted even more

There was pain at first
But numbed after a while
It seemed to quench his thirst
For the pain i felt all the while

He held me tight
My thoughts i could not grasp
After first i tried to fight
But had no chance and gave up at last

I screamed in pain
But it seemed to ag him on
And still its me i blame
For asking him to take me on

I think about that night
And regret it even more
But id never have the might
To fight him off once more

All my choices made
My life will never be the same
But i guess its all the price
You pay to play the game
