Hand and Hand with Guilt and Passion.

by Cherise   Jun 19, 2007

I stumbled down the street
and I met a man
who was holding something
in both of his hands.
"Guilt" in his left
and "passion" in his right.

I asked him why he would carry such things
For those two together,
create the most terrible offspring's
He said that all his life
those were the only things he had,
they are the things that leave him feeling so bad.

I told him "hey man, stop feeling so down"
But by then he was making his way
to the other end of town.
by the time i got home, thinking about the man,
I found that i had
"Guilt" and "passion"
in my left and right hand.
