Let Me Dream

I can feel I don't belong here.

There is always something pulling;
clawing at the back of my mind..
into the depths of my thoughts.

Staring at the stars, I relax; calm and at ease.

They are the same stars seen every where in this world
and I can dream amongst them forever.

And so I dream of a day
when I will be able to leave this place;
farther away than any one road will take me.

Where no one will find me.

Where I will find my freedom.

..farther and farther away from here
and I dream...

Still unable to find a way home,
and so it will always be

..except when I dream..
