To The Hudson Sea

by Richard Machado   Jun 19, 2007

To the Hudson sea, and back
I went. Counting all the time
Id spent, worried about
Retirement.

Because, I know this time
Was lent; because, I know here
Comes the end. Prepare me for
Retirement.

You managed to pack so much emotion and depth into this, despite it being relatively short, and that is sometimes hard to do.
My favourite part was the end, it was beautiful and stunning at the same time.
I wasn't sure about the format, I kind of got thrown of in places, but other than that this was beautiful.

Although its short, it is straight to the point and very well written. I like the way it ends, very good.
    Keep up the awesome work..
