Unloved

Tear drops quickly fall
they scatter to their place
gather in small puddles
they've left her empty face

So, broken this girl sits here
depressed she softly cries
they tell her that they love her
she wonders if it's lies

How can she be loved
no joy that she can give
empty on the inside
but continuously she lives

So much love inside
she wants so bad to share
to wrap each person solely
and let them know she's there

Jesus is her daddy
and yes she loves him so
can't explain her pain
there's no where else to go

to her broken knees she falls
Lord she's crying out
fill her with your love
with hurt she softly shouts

God save her from herself
or soon this girl shall die
she trusts and knows your there
give her peace inside

A peace that never leaves her
even when she's down
let her know you love her
when she's sad and wears a frown

Her heart is overwhelmed Lord
in awe of all you are
she comes to you and sings
God take away these scars
