I'm Just A Girl

Im just a girl, i have my flaws, my imperfections, && my mistakes...i don't ask for a monument in my name, i don't expect to have standards i must live up to, nor do i want to be set on a scale of comparision to others. im just a girl...call me ordinary. maybe that's what i am. i don't know everything although i try to make it sound like i do, my strength is undefinable but my Kryptonite does exist. im just a girl...i speak my mind, not everything i say is important, but just listen to me. my laughter seems endless, look twice you'll see pain in my eyes. ive overcome many obstacle courses, but i was left at the starting line in many others. i'm looked up upon but there are situations where i'll put my head down && walk away. im just a girl...i've loved && been loved, i've lost people && i've been forgotten, i tend to hide my pain behind a smile. i'm me but i have a disguise, i don't hesitate but i do stop. i'm just a girl, i'll get mad, i can yell, i can be irrational, i fantasize && build my own reality. i'm an ordinary girl... however, if given the chance i can change your world. i'm unique in my own way, don't try to change me, don't judge me, just accept me for who i am...with my flaws, with my mistakes, because i can promise you i'll make them worthwhile.
