A Love That Watches From the Side

by skye16   Jun 19, 2007

I've told you that I love you,
asked you to be mine,
seen the true hate that you had when
you found out first.
Sent you cheap cards,
bought flowers which now are
stained with crimson in my loving memories.

Hell I've even sent you lame gifts
which I know holds truths of sad pity, but
in truth all I could afford.
Numerous songs of birds love, burning
in my heart with a phoenix fire.

Seen again nearly half a year later in eyes I
didn't see the glare of death, but in
exchange I saw that of rising glory. Now then, yet again nearly
another half a year the view I saw in your eyes
was neither hate nor love, but apologetic sorrow.

I've seen you with my friends, some in which
knew you it was I liked. I asked you about someone else now,
'cause I know he's friends with you, but it's just cause he acts
as if he hates me and I was trying to see if
there was a reason. Lame I know and
now I ask'd ya to the winter-semi
in a way not in person which is lame beyond the fact
yestaday you looked the most beautiful
I've ever seen ya, and if I could
turn time... Yesterday's the day I would go back to,
Just to compliment your beauty.

There's probably people who
think otherwise, but you're the most beautiful girl
I know. Look's aren't everything, but yours
are a plus side to falling in love.

If it's yes you say I'll try as hard as I
possibly can to make it I you'll never,
in eternity forget. My best I'll give and my best
you'll get. And hopefully in return you'll give yours
and I will receive the best you can give.
