This tear that trickles down from my eye
is not a tear caused from not being with you, but
a tear from the love felt.
This tear is a tear from fear of losing a friend.
This fear is not is not of insecurity, but when I love
you so not being even a friend is too unbearable
to withstand knowing I like you so.
From this tear I hope you see I still want
you to still give me a chance with you,
but to still stay a close friend if the
relationship is to fail at such extent.
This tear, though not always visible, is
dripping still, only to wait for your gentle
warmth to wipe it away.
