You Just Stood There

You just stood there
Motionless
Like you were
Unwilling to move
I slipped
And went under
I turned 13 that day
Luckily I wasn't to far out
And could get to
Shallow water
I got out
Tears poring down my face
Happy that me and the girl
That was on my back
Were ok
Yet sad to know
That you say you love me
And you just
Stood there staring
