Suicidal Ambitions

by skye16   Jun 19, 2007

I live a life constantly looking into the eyes of Satan
I no longer am able to keep my ambitions;
From now on my lost ambitions are all suicidal.

With suicidal ambitions,
I still manage to love you
With numb emotions
It's faded to a point wanting you is just because.

Because I have nothing left,
All I want is you
As I've fallen to the ground.

Nothing left but a brown-eyed beauty in the distance and
A weight too heavy to carry alone.
Everyday I strive, you're still there staring at me
Telling me, get up.

A weight to heavy to carry,
I strive on hands and knees;
Still, I can't reach your feet.

You're stronger than my suicidal ambitions,
And so am I, so
Why am I
Having such a hard time;
And without you.

My suicidal ambitions are almost out,
Whether it's because I forced them out,
Or they left...
It's all for you.

    There were some parts I didn't understand...
    "From now on my lost ambitions are all suicidal." I don't quite get that... does it mean that the person no longer has the ambition to commit suicide?

    but overall it made me think :-D that is definitely a good thing in a poem.
