Crystal Winter Wind

by RavishingEruption   Jun 19, 2007

As I close myself against this ghoulish winter wind
I feel the bitter kiss of snow pull me closer to the end

My heart as frozen as the ice on solid crystal stone
The bareness of this evil world makes me feel alone

The sharpness of this crystal wind has torn my dreams apart
Leaving shreds to cover me and my bleeding heart

The tears I cry slice down my face and cut like broken glass
It reminds me of our broken love and how it cannot last

The evil wind whips me around into your waiting arms
Even though I try to leave, I fall prey unto your charms

With words like syrup so dripping and so sweet
You whisper the words 'I love you' and I know that I am beat

Beautiful and outstanding. Short and sweet with all poetic qualities. You have just written it in the way it should be and its just fllawless. 5/5 all the way.
