Sea of dreams

Over the deepest ocean
my dreams sprawled out on the sea
floating to somewhere they can be used
better than i'll ever let them be
why can't i thank my lucky stars now?
they say you'll thank me later
thankyou i said thankyou
that none of my wishes ever come true?
my hearts hangs limply overboard
dangling like a puppet on a string
i sink my heavy heart
into my sea of dreams
