Broken Car

by david kessel   Apr 22, 2004

Nothing can ruin your weekend like a broken car-
You were looking forward to leaving town but didn't get far.
The vehicle's engine sputtered and the vehicle stalled.
All of your plans for the weekend have been blackballed.

Running around just like a chicken with no head.
Cussing out the engine for being dead
It didn't quite care that all the week you worked hard
And your plans for the weekend you must now discard.

And all the repair shops are now closed.
As to destiny's joke you 've been exposed.
Time has been wasted and great plans went awry,
The darn broken engine blew them sky-high.
