Not going to miss you

by Josiah Larson   Jun 20, 2007

The smell of you perfume lingerers around me,
Your probably driving home,
I need some shelter from my own protection,
be with myself till the pain goes away.

I hope you know that this is
something to do with you,
this is personal with myself and her,
I have some work to do.

I'm not going to miss you,
like a child that misses their mother,
but I have to get a move on with my own life,
its time to take the risk.

Fairy tales do not always have a happy ending,
in this case that is true,
so don't bother to try or cry,
please just say good bye.
