Trevor Sae [Acrostic]

by Richard Machado   Jun 20, 2007

A dawn cracked morning, hast set forth a brand new day.

Tilted shadows awake, in their own way. From
Fiddler to derelict; drowsy bodies sway. Friendly
Phantoms fondle passions to close eyes and lay. Freezing
Summer waves caress the shores to winter bubble grey.

Tamed the phantom, 'Can you hear me?' To the boy named Trevor Sae.

The boy was daunted by the voice that asked him
For a word to say. He was daunted, then encouraged,
So he boasted the words, 'Nay! I hear not the voice
Of evil; so, will you please just go away?'

'Are you scared of me, dear boy?' Spoke the phantom, to little Sae.

'I am scared of you no how, or no way. Please tell me, from which
Abyss you did stray, to converse with me, this day?' 'Little boy,
Dont you know? I emerged from the crimson Glow.' To say
The least the boy was puzzled, and his thoughts inside him -

Rustled. For he, knew not from where he spoke. He thought this was

Just some cruel joke. 'Whats your name?' Asked little Sae.
No reply, then a whisper, 'Dai.' 'Surely you, a ghoulish creature
Bear a name of more ghastly feature than the tender, almost,
Slender, oh, and friendlier name of Dai.' 'I surely dont, I

Assure that I dont! Now, listen to me and listen close, or your insides

I will roast! When this days sun, has set back down, You will
Have been set to drown.' And, so, the boy was flushed with fear,
'Is that your tiny heart I hear?' Said the phantom, that was named Dai.
'You do not scare me, no, not I. It is not me it is you who will fry!

Xeric, you are, and Im to send you back, to the land that is yours with

My footprint intact.' Then, soon after, the boy had subdued, the
Ghastly eidolon, or so he construed. 'My dear boy, I dont mean
To intrude, but there is no way that I am done with you. Be wary
Of the time, its half day past noon; and, if you are not careful

I may just be true!' With a glance at the sun, and the horizon, little Trevor

Says, 'Hey! Whats your name again? If Im to die, by the hand
That is yours, I must know your name: revenge I insure.' 'My name
Is Damian; and, your time is up. I am to fill your room with one million
Cups.' The water is rising; half way up. Then, bubbles and gargles -

Ataraxia!

That is really awesome! The flow is perfect and the words are very Poe-etic lol. I do think however that it would be better suited as a short story. It was really really good. 5/5 say I! : D
