To My Unfortunate Successor part 3

by StolenRose   Jun 20, 2007

By the demons that you, yourself, unleashed
in a torment that can never cease.
This is the I legacy leave you
a promise of pain with moments of happiness but few.
You will learn this soon enough I fear
as you loose those that you hold so dear.

But this is my story and you'll tell yours anther time
when you've lost it all and even breathing is a crime.
My body is broken and my will to fight is gone
my spirit is captured and I can't go on.
The life that I once knew is gone forever
so is the prayer I had for something better.

As the scars that were sliced deep into my skin tissue,
are broken again and bleeding without issue.
The burns that had long since been seared upon my skin
are scorching me once more and killing me from within.
Everything I've kept inside all the anger and pain
is finally consuming me as I slowly go insane.

This I tell you because it's now your fate, your destiny,
and you must fight with all you've got or concede
that victory is theirs and you are forever their chattel.
This is also the fate of the world if you loose this battle.
The choice is yours whether or not you fail
in the end know this, good must always prevail.

Now I will tell you about them.
They who are evil and exist only to condemn
those who live because it's life they hunger for
and once they have you, you can never die, only endure.
Forever without ceasing
and your pain only increasing.

They will devour your spirit and consume you completely
until you submit to their power meekly.
But the souls they consume only fuel their wrath
because they are the undead irrevocably on that path
you see they can only absorb life
but never be alive and that is their eternal strife.

For they are damned, but by their own volition
and now they want out, but none heed their petition.
So is this the fate of all mankind?
A worse one you'd be hard pressed to find.
To be dead in every aspect except will,
but despite it all there is hope still.

So take my words and heed them well,
but either choice you make, you will end up in hell.
The difference is how many people's lives you saved
and you will gain strength from the obstacles you braved
That knowledge will sustain you
until your goal is met and your days of pain are through.

So my unfortunate friend
I can feel them coming - this is the end.
One last thing before they come
only by faith in you and others can they be overcome.
Believe in life, believe in love, believe in the good of men.
Then no one can defeat you unless you let them.

The hounds of hell are barking at my at my door
and it is now my time to cease and be no more.
They come through the threshold of my room
and now I know what it is to face certain doom.
Every-time I returned one of them to hell
they will punish me ten times more, I can tell.
