Silent Well of Anger

by Krazy   Jun 20, 2007

Tangled words build inside her
anger sprouting deep
temptations of outbursts
barrage her quickly and silently

only to wish for the perfect
to be above with her Heavenly Father
among perfection in it's finest
filled with pure elation

instead sitting here
rocking back and forth
short breaths racking her small stature
eyes tightly shut with anger behind them

if only she had someone
to sit beside her and tell her it's ok
if only she heard His voice
saying I Love You don't give up

instead sitting here
with anger welling up quickly
release point rapidly approaching
to lash out at the unfortunate bystander

Wow I liked this poem because I could just feel the anger boiling up inside her just waiting to explode like a kettle. The only thing I'm not getting is why is this poem under the love category? I think that it should be placed under something more suiting. anyway nice job.
