Those I have lost

Those I have lost ,
never shall I forget.
Friends and family alike ,
my memories haven't faded yet.
First I lost my Grandad ,
that was the biggest loss of all.
He's been gone 18 years now ,
now and then the tears still fall.
To me he was a hero ,
he was always there for me.
Even though hes not here ,
my hero he will always be.
Next there was my best friend ,
he was taken in such a cruel way.
With him I shared all my secrets ,
he would brighten up my everyday.
Then I lost my first love ,
with him forever i thought I'd be.
He made me feel special ,
broke my heart when he cheated on me.
But I forgave him for his cheating ,
when you love someone thats what you do.
We weren't together when he died in that crash ,
but i never stopped loving him thats true.
Each of them have passed away ,
and taken from this life forever.
Each of them I shall never forget ,
because the memories I have I still treasure.
