First stanza is my favorite, but the rest of the poem is good, too.

This poem has to be my favorite poem of yours I have read so far. Excellent! Everything about it. It seems to be about a hunt, but it also feels as though it's more then just that... like a metaphor for something I haven't figured out yet...

Wow I must admit when I first read the title I wasn't sure what I thought. I think that it needs a bit more spice because the hunt is sort of boring and doesn't catch the readers attention. Although once I opened the link I was very glad that I did. This poem is very good. It keeps the readers interested all the way through, its grip getting stronger until the very end. I think that my favourite stanza was the third one. Personifying the trees was a very cleaver thing to do, and doesn't happen to too often anymore on this site. But in doing that you gave the poem that little bit extra that it needed to push it over the edge and stick in the readers mind. Very nice job, just a little fixing of the title and I think that you shall have a winner.
