I'm just a Blob

I'm just a blob,
Caught inbetween the two.
Made to shape shift,
From disguisingly happy to undeniably blue.

How am I to choose sides,
When I'm stuck in the middle?
I state my reasons but in the end,
All my opinions matter very little.

I want only happiness,
For all whom I know.
But how can this happen when,
Their emotions defer to what their actions show?

It's hard to be close to someone,
Who doesn't show their true self.
You never know if it's them,
Or if their hiding behind something else.

I'm just a blob,
Wondering what to do.
And how in the world,
Did I get stuck inbetween them two?
