My endless struggle to survive

by Ingrid   Jun 20, 2007

In my endless struggle to survive
there were times I was so down and out
I didn't care if the next day I'd still be alive

The cross I bear weighs heavy on my shoulder
but I know our dear Lord would not have given me
a burden to heavy for me to hold her

For some of us life is about making fun
I'm just trying to survive, endlessly fighting
Scared and hungry for love, always on the run

When I'm through waging war against my next of kin
my endless battle will come to an end
and I will leave this hell that I am in

Your plead was well written. it was magical and very inclusive. made me think bout my life and fighting is just not wat you should do.

well done. great work on involving the reader.
