Waisted

by Anthony   Jun 20, 2007

Darkness wraps around the white rose,
petals fall from the delicate flower.
Thorns prick the thin soft skin of a child.

Blood falls to the ground of blackness.
The child cries.

Light reveals a red rose,
a delicate flower, ready to wilt.
The girl in black sheds her blood to save the life of the rose.

Waisted blood, essential liquid
passed down through generations.
Devoured by some.

Waisted!
