Little girl and a butterfly

by Mariselly   Jun 21, 2007

Little girl walks alone and out of sight,
Thinking if out there might be some better life,
Without pain and without grief,
Maybe without woe and without casualty,
The poor child sits without a soul,
With a dead mother and nothing to hold,
At least a beautiful butterfly,
Pitied the lonely child of life,
As the little girl walks away,
Her companionship has changed,
The little girl walks with a friend and in someone's sight,
Thinking out there is a better life,
Without pain and without grief,
Without woe and casualty.

Aw wow, this was a really heartbreaking poem. Maybe there is a place, a time where we can go to, where there will be no woe, no casualties. A poignant write. You really have a talent in putting emotions into your poetry!
