The Land of Forget-Me-Nots

by RetroRavey   Jun 21, 2007

I lay in the land
of nature and beauty,
of trees
and of mountains,
the land of flowers.

I stay in the land
of fighting and fire.
Old habits returning
killing what was left
of my dying sanity.

I pray in the land,
to the land
for the land,
I pray for forgiveness
for hating.

I lay in the land
of forget-me-nots.
