Maximum Exposure

Maximum Exposure
By: Twisted Heart

In the depths of darkness, upon my wounded heart
Wide open from the memories, still tearing it apart.

No comfort comes to tend my soul as I weep inside
A victim of pure loneliness wells deep within my eyes.

To see a distant crossing over tender dreams release
Against the pitch of shadows that are bound inside of me

The capture of a moment found a mind lost in regret
Many times seized by the hunger of a single breath .

Night has given sorrow to the heart that cannot live
Within the resurrected mind unable to forgive

A battle beating in my thoughts is more than I can bear
Leaving in its thunderous path, pieces everywhere.

Where are stars to wish upon, they've left me here alone
And the moon no longer glows inside this broken home.

Just darkened pit inside the mind tattered by its flow
Leaving in the wake of time a heart and soul exposed.

Beautiful emotions poems you penned here, simply within every stanza but yet flowed well expressive emotions...

"No matter how hopeless the present problem may seem, remember: This, too, shall pass."

Wish you have a good day myfriend, take care...Bert.
