The mask slips on

by deaddarkwolf   Jun 21, 2007

The mask slips on,
When she wakes up,
From then on,
Ever one stares,

Her with her big smile that never fades,
That lasts through the hardest rains,
Its there even if she burns off her legs,
Even if they say the meanest things,
It's there even if they all hate her,
And they all tell her,
She is an actress,
One of the best,
You see,

She can act out her whole life,
With the worst contusions you see,
A insane, abusive, druggie dad,
A mom that drunk and acts like she's 15,
A million people that have her on top of there hit list,
Yet she smiles telling jokes,
Like nothing is going bad or wrong,
Sometimes acting like somethings wrong,
Just so they think she doesn't pretend to be ok,
And she is ok every day.
