It took years to be done.
There were two not one.
It took years to build the Twin Towers.
WTC was built on that land, not flowers.
So much work was put into them.
Both of them were obviously bigger than a gem.
Not bigger than the sky.
But great enough to catch anyone's eye.
They stood proud for the U.S.
They stood over Americans east to west.
On September 11th they were no longer high.
When they fell it left millions to cry.
To be built it probably took 500 x 100.
But terrorist attacks took more women and men.
No one will forget when WTC and Americans fell.
Many were sad to hear their loved one's funeral bell.
That just shows year are minutes and minutes are years.
In between those many minutes and years, there are many tears.
Today, on Ground Zero are many flowers.
We will never forget the Twin Towers.
