Blank Words (Collab with Sam)

by Mo   Jun 21, 2007

He writes flawless words for her
Verses that past a great land
For her face he does not know
And his love, I shall not understand

He wraps sonnets in mementos
Gifts of which we cannot see
For we do not have his lovers eyes
For we do not hold loves serenity

He sows words of utter beauty
Weaves tales of how he'll pursue
For his eyes are ablaze with passion
And his quill is his tongue of virtue

He ponders his lilies in essence
Making sure that they are all pure
For his love deserves perfection
And his heart is all but demure

And after the sands of time passes
He pines his life to the bones
Awaiting that perfect moment
To secure himself in the unknown

This man he has loved wholly
And his love is but a moment away
But he will never feel her touch
His heart did his shyness betray
