I love your line about him being the captain of your heart. I also adore how you have accepted him for who he is. It's important to look at people as they are but love them anyways, your poem was really great!

I know exactly what you mean...although they might not be the most amazing-looking person, they somehow have a charm. Sometimes you wonder if other people will make fun if you confess. But that's the beauty of love...you see yourself admiring someone you'd never know you would. Great poem! So simple but really true.
