Paint me a picture
of a moon and a sun.
Add a tree
and a flower, but only one.

Paint me a picture
of what we used to be.
When we were just little kids
with dirty hands and knees.

Paint me a picture
of the fun we used to have,
playing in the sandbox
unaware life would be so unfair.

Paint me a picture
of the friends we once were ,
before you forgot about me
before you met her.

Paint me a picture
of what we used to love
see..I just cant seem to remember
any of the above.

Paint me a picture
of a moon and a sun
two best friends forever
I guess forever isnt long.. Left is only one.

    How endearing. This reminded me of the game, "Paint Me A Picture" -- it is so cute! :) Although the poem was rather bittersweet, still I'd give you my props for writing quite a poignant piece. All the best and take care.

    My favourite stanza was,
    "Paint me a picture
    of the friends we once were ,
    before you forgot about me
    before you met her."
    Sometimes you think things are going so perfect until someone takes it all away :(
    Anyway, i loved this poem. It was quite intriguing :)
