A New World

by Robin   Jun 22, 2007

Where the shadows meet the Earth,
Where the trees touch the sky,
The place of the newest birth,
The wind sways up high.
When the candles touch the sun,
When the darkness reaches space,
When there's no where left to run,
When you can't find a safe place.
The words will spill together.
The ground will tear apart.
The sky will fall forever,
Rippling from heart to heart.
When the clouds rain no more,
When the night becomes a shadow,
When there is no after or before,
And no one has a home.
This is the time,
All will fall in,
All will combine,
Bliss and sin.
This new world will be lifeless,
Nothing here to distract,
This world will be faceless.
Only an endless pit of black.
The spirits rising up,
Surrounding buildings falling down,
Come together to corrupt,
Not a soul can be found.
