NO MATTER WHAT

by Nikky   Jun 22, 2007

I wished for you to just leave me alone
only for a while so i could breath on my own

but i made a mistake and looked in your eyes
when instantly i got this high

i picture us in this place so far away
we spend our lives together day by day

the smell of fresh flowers lingers in the air
there are colors and beauty nothing is bare

allowing the wind to blow through my hair
i look to the ocean with a stare

you come from behind and hold my waist
i smile silently to your warm embrace

you turn me to you so gentle and slow
i look in your eyes and they seem to glow

your hand so soft caresses my cheek
and slowly you begin to speak

your tone is perfect, your voice unique
your words you say make me weak....

"i love you. i want to die with you in my arms.
i want to protect you and keep you safe from harm.

your beautiful and mean everything to me."
you reach in your pocket and get down on one knee

(is this really what i hope it will be)
"Nicole....will you marry me?"

my tears begin to flow like a river down hill
"i love you Randy, of course i will!"

you rise from the ground
pick me up and spin me around

we are in a complete state of bliss
nothing matters but the touch of our lips

together we lay in the field of flowers
the couple of minutes turn to hours

you wipe away my falling tear
and whisper i love you softly in my ear

and there we lay hands locked together
nothing but us and our love forever

but then i awake from this beautiful dream
i collapse in your arms and silently scream

i can only hope you hear my cry
and pray this time you wont tell me goodbye

but then i watch you walk out the door
when i realize you cant save me anymore

your about to leave but then you see
how much you really do need me

you run up the stairs screaming my name
only to find me lying in shame

bleeding from my wrists you see where i cut
and written on the wall in my blood you read....
NO MATTER WHAT
