Alive And Crying (Acrostic)

by Jenni Marie   Jun 22, 2007

Always feeling the world's against her
Lying about her emotions each day
Intoxicated by the mere thought of happiness
Vilifying thoughts crashing through her mind
Ephemeral, her joy always is.

Anger coursing through her veins
Never feeling she has a single friend
Debility ripping her to shreds

Constant tears falling
Reliving past horrors
Yearning always for a better life
Is this pain supposed to be a lesson?
Not feeling she can handle such sorrow
Ghastly thoughts gather as she sits alone and cries.
