Expressions of emotion

by Mo   Jun 22, 2007

Peace, a snow flake on the ground
Love, a bright flower in the fall
Rage, a velvet robe of blood
Greed, the thing that ruins us all

Contentment, sits and basks in warmth
Lust, a fleeting spark of occupation
Fear, a fist that grips our heart
Sin, a writhing can of temptation

Excitement, a burst of sunflower yellow
Depression, a black hole of vacant space
Hatred, shattered shards of mirrored life
Death, an ending played out in grace

*Just wanted to put some words to feelings I have - they become easier to deal with when you compare them to a physical thing*

Definitely not my best piece of work... but just jotting things down. Thanks for reading. :)

I adore this piece. How vivid the imagery your words portrayed! It was, in fact, written and presented rather well and sound. The overall diction and flow of words were terrific. As a result, on the whole, I give you my props for writing such a fantastic piece. ~Marian
