This I Promise You

Most of the time I dont like directness in poetry Im more of a fan of metaphores but the bluntness of this peice seems to fit quite well. I like this because I can really feel all of the pain that the author is going through. It sounds like a fresh heartbreak and the words just flowed through you by way of the pen. Nice work, short and sweet.

Short and sweet. Just like all of your other work. Lol. But what I love about your work is that even though it is short, the emotions are strong and the love is felt in such a little amount of words. Which is great. The flow was flawless in this peice and you ended it great.

Perfectly penned poem of lost love, this can resonate within anyone who has lost someone they didn't want to lose. I'm sure most on here will see how heartfelt and real this piece is.
With some love poems, they gain a certain amount of pretention and self worth. You made this all about how the person will always have a special place within you.

Lovely poem. Very unlike most of the others I have read from you. Shows a softer side; That side should come out and play more often.
