So lonely....

You think I'm so much stronger,
Than you could ever be,
but the truth is I feel so alone,
and i don't want you to see.

I won't deny I'm broken,
or that you tore out my soul,
the only thing left unshattered,
was my body as a whole.

You seemed so warm and gentle,
a safe haven from myself,
somewhere i could escape to,
and be anybody else.

You were only trying to hurt me,
You were simply being you,
which makes you more scary,
surely this was due.

If I had let myself fall deeper,
I hate to think where you would be,
one thing I'm now sure of,
is it wouldn't be with me....
