Comments : Walk Before You Judge

"By looks alone you can' t tell a thing
What matters is what' s deep within.

Before judging every move, word, and style
Take their shoes and walk at least a mile."

The quote, "Don't judge a book by it's cover" really relates to this poem.
My favorite part of the poem was how you took real life scenarios [sp?] to make people understand the whole point that the message contains. [Never judge someone based on their looks, etc.] Fantastic job. :] 5.5 You're a wonderful writer, keep it up!

I think everybody is a little to quick to judge sometimes but thats just the way it is, we'll always have those first thoughts of people no matter what. As we get older we realize that people are just people regardless of looks or how much money they have, we shouldn't be so quick to judge or put down what we don't understand. Amazing poem again 5/5 for sure GG23

This is an effing AWESOME poem. Again, the message behind it is one that people hear all too often but seem to never listen to. I love the way you introduce each person at the beginning and then explain them later on, it's a really effective structure. Love the ending as well. 5/5

You are an old soul. your writing is like that good old home cooked meal from grandma, you know, fills you up and leave you hungry for more. I think the phrase i am looking for is comfort food. I am going to get fat reading your stuff...

WOWWWW!!!!! I really like this poem so very much and I am sometimes guilty of judging a person by the way they look. You have made some really important points. You are an excellent poet and you have a very distinct way about getting your point across. Keep up the good work.

I love this poem so much. My favorite lines would have to be
"By looks alone you can't tell a thing
what matters is what's deep within" and "Before judging them just by style, Take their shoes and walk a mile" because they are so true.
